Craft Christmas cards! Encourage the children to make cards with a hopeful message to someone who needs cheer.
Create the components of the kindness wreath from page 19. Children can trace and cut their hands for leaves (older kids), or just cut green pieces of paper of any shape (younger kids). Each child can take home a bag of leaves, a paper plate base, and the instructions found HERE.
snack
Provide a simple snack of fruit and bread, discussing (as on page 17) everyone who helped bring the food to our classroom.
